Day 189 - Casual Flights

Introduction

Today was another casual flying day. We didn't have any experiments planned and so we flew a few rockets just for fun. We flew the Axion G6 at 210 psi and then decided to extend it by another spliced-quad and flew it again a couple more times. All flights landed well without damage. The boys also flew some of their rockets. Because of the calm conditions, Paul flew his lightweight Flygon on a D12-7 to around 1000 feet. John ended up chasing the rocket with a drone and got great footage of it coming down.

Overall a great day for flying rockets and we came home with all rockets recovered and in tact.
