Most of the bottles responded in a similar manner to
being pressurised. At 120psi, 2L bottles increased by about
8mm in circumference, lengthened by ~7mm and volume
increased by about 170mL. At the same pressure 1.25L bottles
increased their circumference by about 5mm, lengthened by
3mm and increased by about 70mL in volume.
After being pressurised to 120psi the bottles typically
did not return to their original volume. The values given
are the difference before and after pressurisation.
