Foam Flights

This was our first launch for the year. The weather was perfect for launching with blue skies and calm conditions. As we are currently busy preparing rockets for Thunda Down Under we just flew a number of our regular rockets. The first two flights were of the Axion II rocket with foam. Both flights landed well. The third flight was the Axion rocket with 1800mL of water and foam. Again the flight went well with a good landing.

We also did a couple of synchronization tests on the cluster launcher at 70psi in preparation for the full scale Polaron G2 launch. The settings looked correct with the main stage being released last in both tests.

There is no highlights video this week because there really wasn't anything new. We are putting together a number of videos though of the projects we are taking to Thunda and these will be posted in the next month or two.

Thunda Down Under

Update 19/3/2015: We're back from Thunda ... Wow what an event :) .... Stay tuned ... water rocket flight reports, build logs and more coming soon.
